1. General Policy
As a non-profit organization, Protectiva Health Foundation generally treats all donations as final and non-refundable. These contributions are immediately put to work to support our health projects and vulnerable communities.
2. Exceptional Circumstances
We recognize that mistakes can happen. We will consider a refund request in the following cases:
- Technical Errors: If a technical glitch resulted in a duplicate charge or an incorrect amount.
- Unauthorized Use: If a donation was made using a lost or stolen card (subject to verification by the bank).
- Data Entry Error: If a donor accidentally entered an extra zero or made a clear clerical error.
3. Refund Request Process
To request a refund, please contact us at legal@phfoundation.net within 30 days of the transaction date. Please include your name, the date of the donation, the amount, and the reason for the request.
4. Processing Refunds
Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used for the donation. Please note that it may take 5-10 business days for the credit to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.
5. Cancellation of Recurring Donations
You may cancel a recurring donation at any time. Please refer to our Recurring Donations Terms for instructions.
